The competitors will *raise* the price of gas because you're buying it all up, and they have lower supplies, thus making Exxon a more logical purchase. Too "compete" all Exxon will have to do is... sell it at their normal price. Hell, maybe they'll raise prices as well, they often do in lock-step. Again, this will have no affect on OPEC prices, nor national supply and demand, nor speculation, thus no net change will occur.
